COVID-19 positive patients in Jamaica to vote in general elections

The Powers that be in Jamaica believe that the right to vote is absolute and fundamental that not even Coronavirus could prevent those eligible to vote from voting.

As Jamaicans head to the polls in general elections tomorrow September 3, 2020, the powers that be made it clear that even Covid-19 positive patients could vote in the elections.

In a statement released shortly after midnight, the Office of the Prime Minister said people in isolation will only be allowed to vote between the hours of 4 pm and 5 pm and under strict guidelines.
